Default auto tensioner noise and damage?

I have a faint fast ticking after an engine change. They even replace the timing chain auto tensioner upon my request since I had this sound. The sound didn't go away.

How much damage is the chain doing if it has a faint tick, not noticeable under idle, just when it is above 3000rpm.

I will take the service guys for a ride to show them the sound when I have more time but it is pretty annoying, never had it before the engine change.

I have the same noise about 3000 RPMS. Only noticeable between 3000-5000. After that the engine is to loud. I don't notice it at idle either. Its best heard when driving by another car or a wall or sometehing that will echo the sound back. If you find it please let me know as it has been driving me nuts for months. I've had one dealership and two other owners check it out and they all think its normal or at least nothing bad. I'm really not sure. Perhaps just noisy injectors?
