Few days ago i decided to purchase the backyard special ECU with 5700 vtec point and rev limit 9300 (from takakaira.com).

thier price was approx 1800 US dollars without exchange but they note that the ecu is not siutable for cars made after October 2003 and my car imodel is 2003 and im afraid to buy it coz there is something with the immoblizer i dont know what ii is exactly.

i wonder is anyone using this ecu ?

 

Isn't October 2003 around the time they started manufacturing the 2004 model year? I do remember the '04 models being available for sale in October 2003.
