Bad O2 Sensor...
Update: It ended up that my catalytic converter had seperated on the inside, somehow, and caused the O2 sensor to break. That cat was covered under the emissions warranty, but the sensor I still had to pay for (already had the part in my hand anyway). Just thought I'd update for future reference.
I personally didn't do anything to the cat (ie shake it), but the mechanic showed me how the inside was moving. Your cat will be covered under emissions warranty up to 80K miles (I think). The O2 sensor is $100-$200 (don't remember exactly) from Trevor @ H&A Accessories. I'd try to get them to warranty the O2 sensor if the cat caused it to break. Didn't work for me, but every dealership is different.
Just got back the preliminary diagnosis for my check engine light. It is the 02 sensor and I am sure the CAT will be bad as well. I won't know until Friday when they install the 02 sensor. Oh yea, it is covered under the emissions warranty
