Battery Relocation Help
I just bought a kit from a seller online. I'm looking for some answers on how to properly install this stuff with what I have. The kit came with the following:
1 battery box
2 battery tie downs
1 maroso kill switch
1 clear breather tube (where should I route this?)
1 7ft positive cable
1 12.5ft positve cable
I'm looking for an answer on how I should connect the two poitive cables together and then how do I connect it to the existing cable in the engine bay. I've heard to cut off the existing terminal and solder on a terminal? Then what? Just bolt the two ables together? I've also noticed that some users have had a breaker installed, I didn't receive one with this kit so I'm wondering if I do in fact need one. Any input is gladly appreciated.
Thanks!

The battery box must vent explosive hydrogen gas if you use the lead acid battery in the photo. AGM battery needs no venting and can be mounted anywhere in any position (even on it's side or upside down). Hard to tell the cable size in the photo but there's a voltage drop with 20' of it. I'd want 2/0 AWG, but I can't see needing all 20 feet in a S2000

There's a "master" fuse or breaker in every proper battery arrangement. The breaker box protects the car against short circuits which can cause damage including fires. A self resetting breaker is convenient if the battery location is inaccessible making a fuse hard to replace. There are 100a and 40a fuses in series under the hood on the OEM cars to do this.

Edit: nvm (saw pic) must be extra
They didn't send you two positives. Since its going under carpet and should also be sleeved to keep from rubbing metal possible shorts. It's just red because, you could of possibly gotten two blacks!
The 7 footer is your ground run n the other is your positive run. you won't need all the wire on either of those runs.

Sweet man, thank you! Does anyone know how to connect the cable in the engine bay to this kit? Should I be soldering the existing cable that went to the battery to the new positive cable? Or can I crimp/solder on a terminal and bolt them together?
