Default Battery Tender

Any suggestions on a Battery Tender? My sons want to buy me one for the "S" which is in winter storage.

I just bought one at WalMart for $20

Has all the features you would expect, trickle charge and maintenance.

I use a BatteryMINDer. Besides being a trickle charger, it also is a pulsing desulfator.

Many years ago I had a PowerPulse by PulseTech. It worked great until someone borrowed it and fried it. I suspect they crossed poles on the battery. PulseTech's products are pricier than the BatteryMINDer and other desulfators, but they are the original company to come out with the product. Now there are quite a few competitors out there.

If you search a little on line you can even download instructions on how to build a desulfator/trickle charger yourself. Since pulsing desulfators break up sulfate buildup in your battery, you can get a battery to last much longer than just using a trickle charger.
