Sorry about the incorrect spelling, typing kinda fast. But anyways thats really the only info i know to give, and no its stock...I checked the oil and its full too.

And also its not that he wouldnt give me the code i didnt ask he just read to me what it said. I wasnt really thinking about it at the time, i was more a less in a state of shock, and just nervous really.

My CEL did not blink either, its constantly on. The only reason why i dont think its the motor is because it runs perfectly fine otherwise (but i not that mechanically inclined either, hense the post), if its the timing chain tensioner is it something that is serious or cause serious engine damage if i drive it? Mainly because i got an appt with a honda dealer tomorrow and they are gonna take a look at it.

Thanks guys though for the replies...

Sorry, but I don't think this is enough information for us to really be helpful. Let us know what the dealer finds. Maybe that will help the next guy.

Well, there is lots more info you could give but I'm sure you just don't know what they are. I don't play "20 questions" anymore. It's just too tedious. Perhaps others will play that game or they'll just not bother anymore. It's up to the question asker to provide as much detail as possible if an answer is desired.
I'll give you at least this ......................... I'll play "1 question".
What does the engine do and sound like when you are not trying to go beyond 6000 rpm and not trying to accelerate moderately to hard (like in just driving sedately)?

Sounds exactly the same as excelerating/idle, except it dosent go into vtec. which is that cranking/clicking type noise the i described in my original post...
If the engine is making a clicking noise that it never made before you got the CEL, don't drive it. Get it looked at ASAP.

You've got something bad going on with your valvetrain. It might be the timing chain tensioner and it might not. Get the car into the shop. Check to make sure the VTEC solenoid wiring harness is solidly clipped on and also the VTEC pressure switch wiring harness. If you don't know where those are, best to leave it alone and let the shop deal with it.
It would still be nice to know the exact CEL code (number).

I know sorry about not getting the code, live and learn. I know next time to make sure i get certain things.

I was reading that other post about the TCT problems and i dont think thats it because my sound is coming from driver side. From inside the car it sounds like its coming from the footwell, but from the outside its defiantly coming the drivers side somewhere but its hard to pinpoint.

Without using a mechanic's stethoscope, it will be hard to pinpoint exactly where the sound is coming from. Engine noises transmit quite well through metal. If it's on the driver's side, it could be the intake cam, but that's still a lot of moving valvetrain parts.
