Default A bit of a "thunk" when I push the clutch in...

I've noticed this sound before, but never paid much attention for some reason until I heard it this afternoon. It occurred first while driving slowling in a parking garage and then I kept an ear out for it on the way home. Seems to happen more at very slow speeds (like under 10mph); when I push the clutch pedal in I get a bit of a thunk sound. No problems shifting.

I did change the MTF a few days ago, but then I remember hearing it a few times before that as well. Didn't seem to be damaging. Didn't sound like anything was breaking, just a bit of a thunk. Sounded exactly the same each time it happened.

Any ideas?

I hear that too but only when I am fully at stop and I proceed to throw it in gear. I will hear a "thump" and feel the car jerk forward a little. Its weird but it seems to be gone now ever since Ive put more miles on her.

Hmmm. This doesn't happen at a full stop; only when moving slowly (or at least I think; I haven't been able to hear it over the engine at other speeds). Car has 31k miles on it, so I think if it were going to go away, it would have.

I get that same thing sometimes, and I have almost 60k on my S.
I wonder what is going on. Hopefully we'll get some answers in this post.

FYI - my car has not had TSB54 or 55 done (long battle with AHM), if this info helps.

Anxiously waiting for help!

Will it hurt anything if it's not done? Do you know where I can find a copy of the TSB?
