Default Blown differential?

okay so yesterday i come out of a red light and i leave normal no clutch dump or anything just normal. i let it rev a little high (5000 rpm) and then shift to second normal shift no power shift or clutch dump and then i near another red light so i put it in neutral and i hear a clank clank clank so im like wtf and i pull to the side of the treet and visually inspect everything on the car and everything seems ok so i keep driving like another 2 blocks and i get to my friends house and the noise kept on but i ignored it i had a project to do. later when i get in my car again the noise is really bad everytime i let off the throttle or im not accelerating. little by little it gets worse and its coming from the rear left tire and when im on the highway and let off the throttle clank clank cank really loud. the rear left wheel has some kind of liquid all over it while all the other ones dont have anything on them. can anyone tell me what might be wrong with my car?

1. something in the differential
2. CV joint
3. something with the brakes
4. some kind of bearing or something

heres the liquid im talking about

The oil on your wheel ain't from your diff. That's two feet away.

Maybe a Wheel bearing???? Is what's on the wheel oil, grease? Is it sticky or slick?
Check for play in that wheel assembly also, investigate the sores of the liquid.

Ima go out and say its the bearing.

When the bearing goes bad, and i mean really bad, it starts making a loud metallic snapping sound.

Thats the right color and area for brake fluid but it looks a little too thick.
