Default Blown Ignition Coil

I've been getting a CEL saying Random Misfires for the past month or so. I read up on the forums and someone recommended a valve adjustment and so I did just that. The next day I took it to school (30 miles of freeway away) and it actually drove a lot smoother than before until I got near the school. The CEL started flashing like crazy and the engine started shaking then suddenly died after I exited the freeway. I thought I had screwed up on the valve adjustment, so I took it back apart to readjust the valves when I notice this ignition coil was stuck. I pried it loose and this is what happened(in the pic). There is a bunch of melted plastic still stuck inside of the spark plug hole. I just have a few questions: Does anyone know how to take everything(melted plastics) out without damaging the engine? Do I replace the metal tube that the spark plug sits in? Is this a common issue? Any suggestions?

The spark plug is loose. Don't try and take the tube out of the head, they are not serviced separately.

100% caused by a loose spark plug. Hope your engine is ok, and you didnt go major lean and score the cylinder. Loose plugs cause the plug electrode to glow white hot and melt off into the cylinder.

Get a long pick with a short sharp right angle hook and start picking the stuff out. Blow it out with compressed air, keep repeating till its clean.

Put four new oem plugs in it and torque them to 20 ft-lbs. i'm sure the other cylinders are soon to follow.

Thanks for the reply guys. I just wassn't sure on what to do and wanted some info before doing anything stupid. The thing is, I think two of the spark plugs were over tighten in the past, because when I first switched a new set of sparkplugs, I noticed that two of them were mismatched. When I took two of them out, there were excessive aluminum flakes on the threads as if the spark plug threads were stripped. After cleaning it out, you guys think I should take it into the shop and have it retreaded or should I just replace the damn head?
