If you dont mind me asking- how much did all the parts run you + labor? my 01 does almost the exact same thing you are describing.
When he showed me the "new" throttle body it almost looked used. So, could be off on the pricing. The Honda near me is known for installing used parts....

sounds like a used one, my dealer told me a complete TB would be in the 500-550 range....Part only
I read somewere that a TPS from a B series engine would work but i still can't verify that

For the new throttle body with replaced map sensor and TP sensor it ran me about $250. Labor would have been about $100 but i'm in there alot and they cut me a break. That is if you take it to Honda like I did.

ihave experienced a similar problem.... I can sit in a drivethru on a hot day and when i go to leave the parking lot and pull out into trafic it will fall on its face right after the clutch is fully engaged, when it happens i can push all the way to the floor and no response, when you let off completly and push the clutch in and rev the engine a bit and let it back out the car drives just fine
I too have a brand new updated map sensor and i have cleaned everything including the air supply tube going to the map......
might try to find a used TB instead of 550$ for a brand new one

I find that having the coolant bypass mod done too stops the bogging. the coolant heats up the air when it enters your throttle body. i've had mine unplugged for a year and didn't put it back for the winter and it never froze up. just a suggestion.

all of my hot temp bogging issues went away after I ran a J's Racing snorkel to the oem air box. It stayed away after I changed to the Mugen intake as well, so I attribute it to excessively high underhood temps on the oem intake system, or it could also occur with a short ram intake system. Once intake temps get too high the ecu gets conservative and starts making changes to the operations of the engine. I'm not discounting a bad map or tps sensor in this thread, but high intake temps will certainly cause certain kinds of bogging.
