both fans come on?

i had a car that only had one fan turn on to cool the coolant...the other fan comes on when the a/c gets turned on.

My previous car was like that, but the second fan was directly on the ac condensor..

I just don't see why only one fan would come on (when ac is off) when there are two fans on the radiator..

ok i guess they both do come on then ....i know on a dodge neon with 2 fans side by side 1 only comes on to cool and the 2nd one comes on when AC turned on

My DSM did this, I thought it was weird until I researched. OP: as long as your temp doesn't spike there shouldn't be anything to worry
