Engine Cooling Fan Issue
Hi Everyone,
I've checked through quite a few posts here but it's not 100% clear what my next step should be.
I've just had a second hand f20C engine put in my car after my car had spun a bearing (), everything is working great except I left it idling for 10 mins after it had warmed up last weekend and found that the cooling fan had not kicked in and the engine had overheated. Also discovered the AC fan was not working either. All rad pipes are as they should be temperature wise. I bridged out the cooling fan switch and both fans came on immediately with ignition on, however AC fan does not come on when normal ignition with switch plugged in.
The car is keeping cool in general use this time of year however I have ofcourse stopped using until I get to the bottom of this.
I'm guessing this means it can only mean a coolant temperature sensor issue in the engine potentially sticking OR the radiator fan switch itself not working? Can Anyone with a lot of experience in this topic please me reassurance? Perhaps some more tests I can carry out before dumping any fluid?
Thanks!

Just changed my fan switch several months ago with this one for a slightly different issue. (my fan was constantly on)
Replacement switch Works perfect and tons cheaper than genuine OEM. Highly recommended

My thread with the recommended recommendation of the switch
