Default bottomed out bad...

...i came across a few tall speed bumps last night (no way around them) and scraped the sh*t outta the bottom of the car at least 3 or 4 times. as you all know the invidia tp places the o2 sensor lower than most of the undercarriage. i believe this is what i was hitting so as i look this morning i notice the bottom is filed down flat. anyways no CEL but today on a cold start, i had major backfiring/popping between gears when i pulled out. im wondering if this had something to do with it. other than that...how bad can it be to smash the sensor a few times here and there? whats the worst that can happen? ps...the backfiring sounded sick, kinda liked it

If you hit the o2 sensor going over the speed bump replace it ASAP, its most likely causing the backfire/pop.

I have the same test pipe and with the sims on it sticks about a half an inch lower than anything forward of the rear suspension. It really scares me when i have to go over speed bumps

The pop/backfire is re-burn from an exhaust leak. You may not hear it, but you definitely have a crack or leak somewhere in the exhaust.

blue smoke usually mean your burning

running with no o2 will mean your cars going into limp mode.. no vtec.. and car runs on default settings
