yea blue smoke means you are burning oil.

if your o2 sensor is bent or damaged go ahead and replace it. without o2 sensor you will feel like you are driving a civic with top down. and don't ever go over that bump again.

Depends on if you're talking about 1' or 2' O2 sensor. Fubar'ing the 2' O2 sensor won't have any adverse engine effects.

ok latest symptoms....
1. slight bubbling back firing
2. occasional blue smoke from exhaust
3. when slowing down and going to nuetral...the idle drops VERY low, shakes a bit and bounces back. (almost everytime coming to a stop)

all this from hitting the o2 sensor a few times??!! doesnt add up to me

ok from my understanding (limited as it may be) the #1 O2 sensor is the one in the exhaust manifold and the #2 is the one in the Cat/TP... and I thought that running with just the #1 and no #2 had no adverse effect other than throwing an annoying CEL am I correct?

wow you are really not paying attention. you are talking about a lot of weight on a sensitive engine part, as well as that weight on a pipe that is not designed to withstand so much weight. It adds up if you know enough about cars and the way they work. Cars are not invincible. I feel sorry for your s2000.
