Default Brake light

Hey everyone! So I took my s by today to get both rear calipers changed they were both sticking and when I got the car back my e brake light was on with the hand brake in the up and down position but it is not engaged down position. I used the simple push the car when it was up and didn't move and pushed it when down and it did so I was wondering what that could be.

Take the center console apart and make sure the wire for the brake light is plugged into the switch...
