It's not the e-brake switch, or the e-brake cable adjustment. It's the brake fluid level switch inside the master cylinder reservoir. This has happened on several S2k's. The only way the switch is sold is with a new brake master cylinder.
sounds like everything else with honda. I had a blown TPS.
me: "I need a TPS sensor"

This may sound crazy but some or all GM cars self-adjust the brakes when the car is operated in reverse. Weather this would affect the E-brake ,I don't know. Also don't know if this is the way a Honda would work. If the calipers haven't completely self-adjusted ,I suppose it's possible that this could also effect the E-brake .
Longshot--- Operate your car in reverse several times and hope for the best.
