Just wanted to let you know that you can significantly reduce brake pad rattles by taking the spring out of a couple of pens and inserting them on the retaining clips. They will apply enough pressure to the pads to keep them firmly against the pistons and prevent them from rattling.

Rob
You are correct . I have not tried this fix because it does not happen that often , nor is it that annoying . I really appreciate all of the comments . Every question or suggestion is looked at.

Can your contacts design/manufacture brake rotors that will reduce the required wheel offsets without compromising strength/reliability of the brake rotors?

The rotor , hat configuration can be made almost any dimension . the problem with the S-2000 is Honda engineered the car with all the suspension parts lined up with center line of wheel to reduce weight . This limits the amount of room that you have to install brake parts. The wheel spokes and the steering arm tie rod mounting point are the outer limits of space . To fit the parts in you must work in these limits or space wheel out to increase room. I have designed system to allow for increase in rotor width if some one was going to race at Le Mans . I am working on two piece rotors for use on stock brake system , for people that are looking for the race look , replaceable rotors, and better cooling.

Bill, not to change the subject, but where have you been? Join us for one of the Central Texas gatherings again! We've all wondered if everything was ok with you and Adrienne...

I am trying to get last pricing on custom bolts for mounting calipers . The kit on my car uses high strength bolts cut to length . I wanted to use custom bolts ,also two of the bolts will have low profile heads to give clearance for wider rotors if we were to have some one request them. Next week should have all information . I will do group buy to allow first kits to go to board members at close to cost.

Brad

Brake lines and Solo-Bleeders I will order from Earl's in 10 lot quantities . I will post pictures of lines , so that people that were not at Asheville can get idea of quality . Defiantly the highest quality of stainless steel lines for the S-2000 . The line is the same line that Earl's uses on all their race applications . The mounting brackets are metal and fixed on line so line mounts exactly the same as stock .
