I bought a Brembo front kit for my car but I've never done any kind of work on a car. Called a couple of shops and the installation will be between $200.00-300.00, so I was thinking on giving it a try myself. Any place where I can get any help and trying to do it myself. Anybody done this before that can help? Installing Brembos, that is!

Is this something I might be able to do?

Thanks

I just had Rick's Pinnacle Brake System installed (rotors & calipers up front and rotors in rear), along w/ installation of an airbox heat shield and the bill was only $129 at Hoosier Imports in Clarksville, IN. I think that the guys you have contacted must think that they are carriage trade. I'd check out some other people if I were you.

The only challenging part of the install should be bleeding the system afterwards. I think Xviper just posted a DIY thread on this procedure. Brakes are so simple, especially when compared to the prices that shops charge for brake service.

DIY = "Do It Yourself"

Send xviper a PM asking if he has done one. If he hasn't, he probably will. He is very helpful.
