Default Brakes and Rotors

Hey guys whats going on. I have a 2003 s and just came back from the dealership. I need front and rear brakes and rotors. They are charging me $610 a set for the front and $610 for the back. I live in central Jersey and I dont want to get ripped off from the dealer. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to email . Also Im looking for a convertible top, mine is ripped and got a quote for a 3rd party for $1500 parts and labor.

Thanks Guys!

I put new EBC slot rotors,Hawk HPS pads & Goodridge SS lines on my 03 last Nov( F&R) for about $600.Google for the parts and DIY or pay a good mech approx $250 to do it.

Good time to upgrade from OEM stuff.

OEM replacement is fine if you are not tracking the car. About $300 for Centric rotors and Posi Quiet ceramic pads from Autoanything.com. Install them yourself. Go out for a nice steak dinner afterward to celebrate your savings. Put the remaining $850 towards the new top.

Jeez, I think you can go buy the OEM pads and rotors from pretty much any sponsor here for $500 or less!

That's if you even need rotors. Have you had the resurfaced before? Are they warped or something? Did the car shake when you applied the brakes?

Of course, this is a good time to consider after-market, too, as the parts are even less.
