i just picked up my new s2k , and i was told for the break in i should go 1000 miles which i think is good but i also should not go above 4500rpm, and i should also never go over 70mph, not until 1000miles , i was also told not to use synthetic oil until 10,000 miles, i should vary my speed as much as i can so i can break in all ranges of the motor, how much of this is true?

 

600 miles is more than enough. Also, check your oil at every fill up and and oil if necessary.
