Default Breather Tube Hose Inner Diameter?

Hey all, I'm replacing my Breather Tube Hose and ordered one from Honda, part # 95005-12001-10m, however the inner diameter of the new hose is almost 2 mm less then the original I have (approx. 12.5 mm vs 11 mm). Because our cars are sensitive to these pressures, I'm concerned about the smaller diameter.

Anyone have experience with this can chime in?

The new hose, which Honda sent almost 2 feet of in bulk has markings of : Y-Tec-TA CSM ECO 170805 ; and I cannot find any information on this. The original hose has no markings.

Thanks

Old one is a bit stretched out?
Either way I would definitely not worry about it just as long as it actually can be fitted

Not to be too anal, but Honda does explicitly state that the inner diameter of vacuum hoses need to match when replacing. To me a smaller diameter means restrictive air flow in a highly calibrated NA machine...which would be no good for our engines. But I don't have enough experience in this to know if 2 mm is a lot for this hose...

That's not really a vacuum hose and the restriction in the metal tube after is going to be much more significant.
It's just my opinion though, interested to see how others see it.

I replaced mine 4 years ago with an oem one, hasn't been an issue. Old hose was fused to the breather pipes on the VC and IM.

In the name of Science, anyone care to measure the inner and outer diameter of their breather tube hose with a set of calipers?

@Slowcrash_101 I too received a Honda OEM replacement, but they now send you 2 feet of bulk hose, with detailed instructions on the packaging about measuring the length and to ensure the inner diameter matches. Is that how yours came?

Perhaps Flanders is right and the inner diameter has enlarged over time and that it may not matter at all... but if it didn't why did Honda go through the trouble of printing those instructions for this hose?
