I was in the middle of an Auto-X last weekend and the engine start vibrating horribly when idling, but smoothed out when revved. The S seems to run fine and against my better judgement, I continued the event (I was trying to catch a Cayman S). I just took a video of what is happening and it goes away when I lean on the engine...

Broken motor mount maybe?

(BTW - I didn't catch the Porsche )

 

Are all the bolts on the valve cover and spark plug cover tight?

 

They are easy to check, jack up the car for a good look.

 

There is definately a difference...
