"Broken right camshaft sensor"
Hey there folks, I went to the dealership on Sunday to get a valve adjustment done (it was practically free) and the technician wrote down that I have a "broken right camshaft sensor." I'm guessing he means that I have a broken TDC sensor, but I didn't get the chance to ask as I was being rushed out of the door.
Would the TDC sensor be considered a "camshaft" sensor?

On 2000-2005 there are two Top Dead Cam sensors in the valvecover, they detect the position of the cams - one for each.
Did they fix the broken sensor ?, or is it just a broken clip on the sensor which they simply fastened ?. It would be good to get more info on the issue. I would assume it wasn't a total failure of the sensor or you would have other issues.
