Is there any pics of the bracket after a shop has fixed this....i want to get this done eventually just to settle my stomach....are there brackets that need to be re-inforced both front and rear, or just the front?

A bit off topic...Reminds me of when I broke the back off the transmission case on a Lotus Europa 90 miles from home. I think it was the railroad tracks in San Angelo that caused the problem. It was a slow trip back to Abilene in 2nd gear. I managed to get it welded back on a week later and the shifting was much improved after that.
