Bucking with new MAP sensor
The S started to idle very rough at low RPMs and it would stall at times. Searched and found that it was the MAP sensor problem. Tried to whack it, but no success.
Bought a new MAP sensor (Denso) from Hardtopguy and the car runs a lot smoother and the stalling problem were solved.
Two days later, the car starts to buck just like some other S's in the forum after a few searches.
My car would not response and accerlerate in 1 to 3 gears around 2500-2800 rpms when giving a little gas (under traffic). If I keep giving more gas, the car would accerlerate again after it passes 3000 rpm.
From other threads, I found that could be the driving style, but this happened after replacing the new MAP sensor and did not have this bucking issue before replacing it.
Any fix to this?

Did you reset your ECU when you replaced the MAP? If not do that, it may help some.
But yes, most ap1 bucking is due to driver style. It was one of the reasons the throttle feel was changed on the ap2. Even after nearly 7yrs of ownership, I occasionally make my car buck at low rpm.

Yes, I reset the ECU by pulling the battery for 4 hours. Then turned on the car and let it run idel for about 30 min and drove for another 20 mins.
If the car was like this before replacing, I would not be so worried. It seems like the problem occurred after replacing the MAP sensor.
I am still trying to change my driving style, but it pisses me off at times.
