You see that is what I mean, Chris (CJB80) answers for him. He will not answer for himself. Otherwise he would have answered to me months ago. It is easy to blame others but what happens when you have no one to blame but yourself..I know of several engine failures.. There is Chris here in tampa and Ernie in tallahassee and me of course who knows who else has a problem out there..Chris makes Big $$$$$ when he sells a Mike Simon motors. He is just a sales men..

Christ left out the part where you floor a 500 rwhp S2000 and the differential says "Fugg this" as it proceeds to drop a load out the back that would make Peter North proud!

I have had my car on the dyno at 23 psi about 30-40 times now and the differential is fine.

I have yet to receive any money from Mike Simon for any motors that he has done.

It's just as easy to blame others as it is to blame Mike? I don't know the details between what happened between you and Mike, or what happened with your motor, so it is hard to comment, but I can guess.

I ask this purely for my own knowledge: I don't understand how you can blame Mike for your motor failing twice, when it wasn't even built by him the second time?

Also, if you start a motor up and it works fine for a week or two, then you go to tune it trying to get more power out of it, and you blow a gasket, I don't understand how you can blame the motor builder?? When you assemble a motor, ethier the head is sealed or it isn't...

Anyways, here is some serious advice: Make sure your tuner is monitoring the raw knock sensor voltage when tuning next. Also have your tuner verify that your timing is set correctly, if it is not, then even if the computer says you're at 18 degrees, you may not actually be at 18 degrees of timing.

Honestly, there is no reason that I can think of that would explain why your head gasket keeps going out besides the tune, or the headgasket was an untested aftermarket product....

well the price for Mike Simon motor (I think 6500) is available AFTER I turn in my current motor as trade. If I don't want to ship it than could I just go to wherever Mike Simon is and just let him pull it out and install the new one on the spot? Even if his in a different state the drive back would probably be well served as the mileage I can use to break in the motor. Perhaps he can tune my car too while I'm there? Also...what about the tranny? anyway to build it so it wouldn't blow or anything? ( I plan to push my S really hard during autoX events comin up on spring)
