I'm Buying a Supercharger for my S2k before the year Ends, need your help Here Guys...

Some Questions..

Comptech or Vortec?

Do i need to change the Clutch?

What about a air to air Intercooler Instead of the Aftercooler?

Or just Stick with the Aftercooler and thats it

Can i run 9psi with stock Injectors and ECU?

Thanks for your help

Do a search, man--all these questions have been asked and answered.

But here's the cliffs notes version:

Comptech is slightly more expensive, but the install is easier and people have less issues with it.

If you have less than 15-20K miles and your clutch is strong, you don't need to change it. However, once the SC is installed, changing the clutch is a bit more complicated, so if you're in doubt over how the stock one is doing, change the clutch and the pressure plate (can't go wrong with ACT)

Aftercooler.

No. If you go 7psi or above you should run 550 injectors and an AEM EMS.

It's Vortech.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a thread discussing the relative merits of both.

Do I need to change the clutch? No. Do you? That's another question.

Can you seriously ask this after your posts about your buddy's mega hp AA cooler SC?

Why not both?

Yes, but not for long.

Always a pleasure.
