Default CANNOT TAKE OFF AXLE NUT!

So i have a MY00 and i want to change the rear wheel bearings because the passenger side is clicking like its trying to get out and ive been riding it for 6 months like that so im sure its ready to go. the problem is i cant get the damn axle nut off.i know it sounds stupid but ive broken one 1/2 inch ratchet (stupid to even use that) and 2 breaker bars. the only problem i see is that im using a 1/2 inch drive socket. but even if i had a 3/4 inch drive i only weigh 160lbs. lol so how do i get this thing off without an impact wrench. i tried one of those too at work but it only went to 200lbs which i need it to go to at least 250lbs. so the nut didnt even budge.the other thing im wondering about is that everyone tells me that if i let the bearing get really bad i can damage the hub. how exactly does does that happen? i just dont see how it could get damaged.i want to know how i can inspect it for damage.

so the questions are
how do i get the axle nuts off without airtools?
what am i supposed to be looking for when inspecting the hub and bearing assembly?

Are you sure you've unstaked it enough?

I don't want to insult you, but you are turning the nut counter-clockwise right? Other than that I don't know. I use an impact.

I tried for like an hour to get mine off. Attempted everything, including having my 250+lb buddy stand on the breaker bar (can't remember if it was 2 or 3 ft).

Ended up having to take it to my other friend's shop to use his impact gun. Came off easily with that. He said he didn't know what was rated to when I asked him.

Good luck.
