Default Can't get car to start.... help

Hey guys,
So last Friday, was out driving my s and all was good. Was running great and everything. I did a pull to 8krpm to merge into the next lane and let off. When I went to get back on the throttle, I had no power, and saw the rpms slowly dropping, so I shut the car off, and let it roll. Tried to start it up and it just cranks and cranks. So towed it home.

Next day, checked all the sensors visually and in the AEM EMS and everything seems to be working. I can hear my fuel pump prime, and have fuel pressure. I checked for spark and have strong spark on all 4. Did a compression test on cold engine and got 210 on 1-3 and 205 on 4. Plugs look good, just wet with e85 from all the cranking.

Pulled the valve cover off to check timing, and its perfect, all the marks line up perfectly. I did find something in the head though. I found a adjustment nut for valve lash just chilling in the head, by the exhaust manifold. It was pretty bent up from the cams I guess? Not really sure how it backed itself off, since I made sure to triple check everything during my last valve adjustment. So I got a new nut, set the lash again and checked all the others just to be safe. Car still just cranks and cranks. What should I check next? Kind of odd how I just lost all power suddenly.

Only thing I haven't done is take the cams out and inspect them for damage, but I'm sure that wont do much. Any ideas?? Could that adjustment nut backing out have done more damage???

So I don't leave it out, car has a built bottom end, supertech ti valve springs and retainers, dw1300cc injectors, whalbro255 pump, e85, AEM EMS v2

The car should still turn over. I don't think the nut caused any damage as your compression test is consistent. I would look at crankshaft and camshaft position sensors.

Maybe, the spark plugs are wet fouled. I'd get another new set. Pull the old set out and let the cylinders dry out, from the excess gas.

Good luck!

I tried some starter fluid, to see if maybe my E85 was bad, did nothing. Decided to take the VC off again and take the cams out, and my trigger disk on the back of the intake cam looked really bad. All the teeth are bent and a chunk is missing from one. I'm guessing the nut caused this?
Think that is enough to prevent it from starting? Going to order a new trigger disk and see what happens....

That could very well the the problem.
Be advised, that bolt i on pretty tight and is reverse threaded, use high quality allen key so you wont strip it.

Seems pretty reasonable to me, especially since the TDC sensors use those wheels for timing.
