Default cant put my 02 s2k in reverse?

I parked and tried putting it in reverse but it wouldn't let me? Any idea what might be wrong? I'm thinking of flushing out all the fluids thinking that might be the problem :-/

OKAY, SO BEFORE TURNING THE CAR ON, I SWITCHED TO REVERSE PERFECTLY FINE, I TURN CAR ON , AND I CANT CHANGE IT INTO GEAR. THE CLUTCH IS GONE.

okay so after waiting for a local mechanic not showing up at my house today. i feel the clutch really loose now. so loose it gets stuck when i push it all the way down. is it really the clutch thats bad? all gears go into place fine when the car is off,but when i turn it on, i cant put it into any gears what so ever.

Make sure you are not moving at all. Put it in a different gear before going into reverse. I usually go 1st then reverse if it doesn't go in on the first try.

I already did that. I can't put it in 5th or 6th gear either.

I think you have a broken part in the shifter mechanism. Does it push down like normal prior to trying to engage reverse ?

Yes, it feels normal with 2-4 gears. First gear is a little tight , even while I'm driving.

It pushes down perfectly fine. When its pushed down, it reaches all the way to the right, but doesn't get into reverse.

If you are comfortable removing the shifter I'd start there. There are two nylon parts as part of the shifter mechanism they may be cracked, while you are in there I'd give it a good lube too Changing the fluids won't help in this situation IMO.
