Car blipping by itself???!?!

Sorry about the perviously vague description. I hope this will be a more clear. The car was in first gear at a stop light. The clutch was in and it would jump from 1000 to 2500 then drop back to 1000 to 2500 it did this until we pulled to the curb and shut it of for a few minutes, then we started the car up and it stopped. Thanks again.

hmmm i made a mistake it was 1000- 2500. Or something close to that.

This happened to DJ Qube's car at the track and we found one of the vacuum hoses had come loose. PM him for details.

i agree, classic vacuum leak. look for a hose that's cracked or torn, possibly one at a high flex location.... so it could be squishing open and shut.

Could be something with the throttle. Check the TPS.

My friend had this same problem with his Civic Hatch. I believe a screw was loose on his throttle.
