ok so i just installed my head and got everything running and replaced the injectors and it idles perfect, but now when i rev it up to maybe around 5k rpms, as the rpms drop it will just die, it wont hold its idle.

i checked all vacuum hoses. i dont know what else the problem could be. could it be the valve adjustment? the car idles perfect and very smooth, so i dont know if its the valve adjustment. i already checked my cam gears and TDC and thats all lined up as well

Check that you plugged the IAC back in and has a good connection.

But otherwise, go through the usual idle issue check list: MAP whack, IAC clean, TB clean.

 

ahh well i drove it today...looks like everything is ok. i think the ecu maybe had to re-learn itself?
