After turning the key, try pushing the start button.

The system consists of the ignition key, immobilizer receiver, immobilizer indicator light, PGM-FI Relay, the fuel pump, and the ECM. With the ignition switch on the immobilizer receiver unit and ECM receive an ignition on command through fuse 46 and the PGM-FI relay. The ECM then sends power to the ignition key transponder through the immobilizer receiver unit. The transponder then sends a coded message back to the ECMthrough the receiver. If the signal is correct, the ECM will then enable the fuel pump by grounding the PGM-FI main relay. The immobilizer indicator light flashes a code indicating the proper key has been inserted. If the key signal is incorrect there is no handshake and no ground of the PGM. The fuel pump is locked out. As you said you hear the pump the problem is not with your immobilizer circuit.

Look elsewhere......
