Default catch can installed w/ krank vents

so i installed my j's catch can w/ new Clear Braided Hoses. i was told to run hoses from the PCV valve "Valve Cover" to catch can and then catch can to krank vent then to intake manifold. so ive been driving my car 2-3 times in the past 2 1/2 weeks or so and noticed the hose on the PCV valve is sucks almost tight. its only the hose that the oil is running through and without the krankvent on it. the hose is no longer round and is more of a flat shape. im not sure if its suppose to be like that or im not suppose to run those hoses..anyone know what hoses im suppose to use? heres what it looks like..

That's some vacuum!

Pick up some 3/8ths (PCV line) and 7/8ths (Breather Line) tubing from Advanced Auto or Autozone. It's black.

It's the heat of the engine that's making them so soft they deform over time. You shouldn't use vinyl hoses.

Those hoses are reserved for pop (soda) machines only.

Like others mentioned, I would use thicker fuel-style vaccum lines or braided lines of some sort.
