CDV or Clutch Wear?
My clutch slipped a few times on the track. I'm not sure if it's because of the CDV or because my clutch is starting to go. I know mileage does not matter, but FWIW, my MY04 has 34K miles on it and from knowledge, it's never been tracked/raced until I purchased it a little over a year ago.
It happened a few times in 4th gear while on full throttle. It does not happen immediately after I change gears, and I'm aware of the CDV and usually wait for the RPM to drop a bit before getting on the gas. I'm not sure if I was overzealous in the few instances where this happened, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on the cause.
The drivetrain is all stock. I did however, install 85A Innovative transmission mount. Motor mounts are stocks as I didn't have enough time to change those out before tracking.
Here is a video of it occurring at 8:55; turn up the sound. The RPM's oscillate a bit before I let off.

i've got 92k miles on my stock 05 clutch and can still shirp 1-2/ 2-3/ and 3-4. It's all about the timing - I used to not be able to do it. I've never had mind slip on the track either, could just be that it gets worn in. IDK
