Look in the DIY FAQ for the Misfire Thread and follow the steps.

When you replaced the plugs, did you use OEM NGKs or another brand available at Autozone?

I will check the garage for the empty boxes, I can assure you I read and followed any IY: instructions listed on S2ki
I will double check, it was over 30,000 miles ago

This CEL has become a crying wolf story.

Thanks again

Wow, I hope not

I went to AutoZone and the following 5 codes were read
P1399 - random/multiple cylinder misfire detected
P0301 - cylinder 1 misfire detected
P0302 - cylinder 2 misfire detected
P0303 - cylinder 3 misfire detected
P0304 - cylinder 4 misfire detected

WOw... I have replaced the plugs, coils and tapped the MAP sensor

Looks like a compression test and or a valves are next?

I reset the codes and am waiting for next, I have called to beg my affordable mechanic

thx

From experience I can 100% guarantee that you have bent valves. A compression and/or leakdown test will give you the answers

Did you read my previous post?

Injectors can cause these exact same codes. Wouldn't be surprised at your mileage. They're very easy to swap out yourself.
