Without proper tools there isn't an easier way. You need to move the coil packs. Reset your codes and wait for them to re-appear. Then read the new codes.

Thats what I figured. Just wanted to make sure before I got Autozone to put one on order at 98 each. But that was my plan to switch out and get the codes again. Plus I didnt have my torque wrench when I put the plugs in so I will check that as well.

I would get my coil packs from Honda, but that's just me.

Any idea how much Honda charges for a coil pack? If they have one in stock I would rather go that route assuming they dont want twice the price.

Alright progress.. After work I moved the ignition coil from cyl 2 to cyl 3 and reset the ECU and started her up and let the CEL come back and got the codes for the DTC and it read P0303 instead of P0302 so looks like the problem was the coil. I have it on order and will get it on Wed to install. I think that a sure sign of the coil cant imagine it could be anything else since the misfire changed cylinders.

you don't have to buy all of them

1) leave the car running and one by one disconnect the coilpacks

2) if the engine shakes worse it's not bad, if there is no change in idle then it is bad

worked perfect for me
whole process took 2 minutes
