Hi there all, I have a MY00 and recently my CEL came on and I got the OBD code pulled. It came up as P0411 = "Secondary Air Injection System Incorrect Flow Detected". Now I understand that this is the pump that injects oxygen into the exhaust gases to dilute it for emissions control. And that the pump only comes on at cold starts or when the radiator fluid temp is between 15-35 *C.

My question is, if I do not fix this will I pass emissions while that engine is warm already?

And has anybody had the same problem? How much is it to repair it?

that helped me when mine threw the CEL P0411. I followed the lines just like in the pictures and viola it was disconnected! i hope its that simple for you as well...

 

thanks for the link. ill have to try it tomorrow and see how it goes. i hope that it's just that too
