Thumbs down CEL - Secondary Air Injection System

i think it was P0411 or something like that. how do i get rid of this code? i cleared it to see if it would come back and it did. i have my air pump hose hooked up to the aftercooler on my comptech supercharger like it should be. i've been supercharged for over a year and i've never gotten any CELs other than a misfire (burnt coil pack) and knock sensor malfunction (the old knock sensor broke).

you gotta check the pump itself and every inch of the hosing... if all those are in proper condition then go from there...if you search you will see that sometime the housing of the air pump itself has cracked/open in some way and therefore it may turn on but not force enough air through the hosing.

Did you check the vacuum lines? I had a loose line rub against a pulley, wore a hole, CEL came on same code. Fixed the line and CEL went off itself same day.

Not sure on an FI car.....if it was NA then I would say 100% it was the little white check valve being backwards. Have you done any service recently where you may have reversed the check valve? You say you "cleared the code". If you did this the proper way as opposed to disconnecting the battery you can do an OBD-II dump and look for pending codes.........most people unknowingly diconnect to clear and lose pendings. My guess is you either have a reversed check valve or it is fouled. I have a lot of experience with Seondary Air. If its not the valve or a rubbing line give me a PM.

^^thanks, will do as soon as i can get around to it. i haven't done any maintenance lately and my lines have been correct from day 1 that the SC was installed last year. this code really came out of nowhere so i'm thinking maybe the pump itself failed or perhaps a rubbing line has a hole. i used an OBD2 scanner to clear the code, not just disconnecting the battery.
