Arrow CF snorkel- not able to close the hood properly

hey, im new to this. i read forums from this site all the time. i have an ap2 2006. i've recently put on a cf spoon type snorkel, and now my hood will not close properly. i have moved the latch up, and i have raised the rubber stoppers and it still wont close without a little force. and i was wondering for those with the snorkel, if you have this problem, what did you do?

thank you

alan

This was mentioned before many times bro. But you actually have to cut the support beam on the hood. That's why I still dont have one.

No it wont effect your hood at all from what I heard. Just won't look pritty when you pop it, thats about it.

Im sure you can figure out where to cut man

Or place painters tape upside down on the snorkel, close the hood and apply sliht presure then pop it back up, where did it stick? thats where you cut.

Or do the sharpie trick.

i bet if you spent alittle time with a dremel, touch up paint and clear, you would make it look pretty good...
