Changed Diff, Seems less agressive
Hi,
I have bought a used diff for my s2000 which came from 2006 ap2 with 121000km, I have a 2004 ap2 with 155000km on my old diff and the ball bearings started to give up, so I have changed the diff and It seems very different to my old one, seems much less aggressive, engages much later !
Was there any change done by honda between 2004-2006 in the LSD?
What are the main effects on LSD engaging when it starts to wear away? Dose it start to be more aggressive or starts to loose up ?
Thank you.

Are you thinking "wear out" as in LSD clutch plates? The S2000 has a Torsen design that does not use clutch plates.
Probably irrelevant but when my my2000 failed it essentially locked. In hindsight came on over time with inside wheel audibly scrubbing on tight but gentle turns
