Changing O2 sensor

Default Changing O2 sensor

I'll be changing my pre cat O2 sensor Monday. I don't have a code resetter. Will the CEL light go off automatically?

It should, yes. You can always pull the battery for a couple seconds if you want reassurance.

U need to reset it with a scanner too. Pulling the battery there will still be a history code stored in the ecu. Or u can pull the ecu fuse if u dont have a scanner.
