Check Engine EPS
Thx strato will get to it asap very nice help. Its funny how it was fine for so long and all of the sudden the smallest bump just triggered everything.
So basically what your asking me to do is isolate the problem? to make sure its not the yellow box or the stereo, correct?

So basically what your asking me to do is isolate the problem? to make sure its not the yellow box or the stereo, correct?FYI, the YB comes with a jumper plug. It allows you to remove the YB from the car and have the car still work. I assume you don't have that plug, because you got the car used?
Yea i bought the car used.. This was my first time looking at the wiring.. I asked the previous owner if he had a speedo calibrator and he didnt even respond but i found it..And looks liek the guy who had it before did a half assed job at the wiring.. IM going to fix it all up but i have no idea how the stereo is connected..this guy who did the wiring took the power line from the YB and connected it straight to the fuse box 10AMP ACC fuse kinda just stuffed it in there adn stuck the fuse in..very sloppy..im gonna have to fix that too. Anyways so your saying look for the short.. What am i looking for exactly? If i am correct the ACC line the stereo uses is sharing the same fuse as the one he plugged the YB into right into the fusebox. SO if there was a short caused by the stereo it would pop the fuse and since the YB is connected there the power would cut there too..OR if the YB shorted the fuse and the fuse now created an OPEN circuit in the ACC line which shutted off the stereo too..i was thinking maybe a power wiring touching the chasis or ground of some sort. yeah? As for the plug if i were to configure it back to stock i wuodl have to rewire it all back again..There are no Spade terminals it was a hardwire slice and tape job no solder either..very poor. As for the stereo system i was the one to install the sound system into my car.. I been doing car aduio for a while im pretty confident abou tit but im gonan double check it anyways. thanks for fast response
