check engine light

search button is not working for me....

how do you reset or turn off the check engine light?

You don't.

you need to get the car scanned and find out what the problem is. Do not reset it.

Maybe he means the main rec'd light?

if you got a check engine light its time to take it to the shop and find out why.

All such things are listed in the FAQs at the top of Technical. You don't need the "search" for this.
