i have done it a ton of times, covered the alternator with aluminum foil, engine was cold when i sprayed it down.....thinking it was just a fluke, i unplugged the battery to reset it, and it never came back on.....i know i shoulda pulled the code but didnt so is there anything i should worry about???? would a wet sensor turn it on????

 

Could be anything. No way to tell now. All you can do is drive it.
