Default Check engine light help

Today my check engine light came on. It blinks every now and then and becomes solid again. It bogged once in first gear and it seems like in nuetral the rpms are a little lower than usually. I'm going to take it into the dealership but does anybody know what the problem may be. Any help would be much appreciated

You could have anything from a ramdom misfire to a bad MAP sensor to a bad ECU itself. There are dozens upon dozens of reasons why your CEL light came on. However, since it blinks now and then, the ECU considers this to be very critical and you shouldn't be driving the car when it's blinking. No point in just guessing. Just get the codes pulled and let them do the diagnostics from there.
