Default Check Fuel Cap Indicator

After I got off work today, I went to MY07 S2000 with 1500 miles and started up the car, and on the indicator area, it was flashing, check fuel cap. So I popped open the fuel door, unscrewed the fuel cap and tighten it again, but it still said check fuel cap. I thought it was normal because I only have a bar left of gas, so I went to fuel gas right after, and the check fuel cap was still on... It's been a hour now since I got home, and the indicator still says check fuel cap. Do you guys know what is wrong?!

Check out your owners manual, it explains why the check fuel cap waring is on and when it will go off.

Alright. Thanks. Well I read the manual and it says it'll turn on if the cap is loose or not on, but my cap was always securely and tightly. After each time I fuel, I make sure it clicks 5-6 times. Anyways, it says it'll go away in a few days of driving.
