clean the air filter?(k&n cleaner?)

when i was cleaning my car today and i noticed that my air filter was dirty...
can i use K&N air filter cleaner to clean my factory air filter??

No. Those cleaning kits are only meant for non-paper type filters. Once the factory filter is dirty, replace it. The cleaning solvents will kill it.

You need to just buy a new factory filter. You cannot clean the OEM filter.

Or buy a K&N or JR and a cleaning kit, it will save you some $$ in the long run.

I would recommend buying a replacement K&N to save you $ in the long run and give you that extra 1hp.
