I think everyone's s2000 does this...I know mine does at idle..I've heard it's just the valves/lifters...Has something to do with VTEC equipped cars.....No worries

My 01 s2k has a bad lifter knock coming from the head. I have added additives into the crankcase and it was suppose to STOP IT IN 5 minutes or so. Its called GUNK VALVEMEDIC VALVE TREATMENT. Although it maybe quite it down a little, i believe that is just a placebo effect haha. Need help or advice on what to do. . .

 

Not to bring up an old thread...... But my car, 07 with 2.2K miles just started (today) a "clicking noise" from the engine today.

Going to bring it in to the dealer tomorrow for oil change and their take on what the noise is.
