Notchy is normal, just means you need to change the fluid. Use Honda MTF or Red Line MTL. 2qt should be a sufficient. Transmission capacity rated at 1.56qt IIRC.

try some torco RTF, its a full synthetic, it has put up with about 18k miles of MY abuse and the tranny still shifts good with 112k miles on it.

It's got a more aggressive friction modifier in from what i understand. They say it works better than others in trannys that see high rpm shifts on regular basis.

yea i beat mine kinda hard but i have always heard OEM trans fluid was the best but i guess ill try something else

I also have oem clutch and its about time for a new one, could that have any thing to do with it?

unless its warped or the springs are 1/2 way out I dont see it causing shifting problems.

I use GM Synchromesh Friction Modified in my tranny. I like it a lot.

oem fluid. i've tried gm and amsoil. oem worked best for me.

be sure to change clutch fluid if you're getting notchiness.
